Mr. Muneer Ferozie the Regional Head of Public Private Partnership (PPP) and Gillian Rodgers, the Principal Country Officer, paid a courtesy call to the Attorney General Hon. Dorcas Oduor, SC, OGW, EBS. The (PPP) head congratulated the AG, on her recent appointment and conveyed IFC’s gratitude collaboration between the Government of Kenya.
Their discussion focused on the contractual agreements between the Government of Kenya and IFC, related advisory services in support of public private partnerships.The deliberations further dwelt on the IFC role in provision of transaction advisory services to the government and government entities within a formal contractual agreement, matters related to clause on immunity, standards of IFC performance and conflicts on interest in the context of IFC’s transaction advisory mandates.The Attorney General stressed on the need to have public sensitized on Private Partnership matters and how it can benefit them.
