Today the Hon. Solicitor General, Shadrack Mose, officially opened the Office of the Attorney General Wajir County Office in keeping with our decentralisation process intended to bring our services closer to the People.
Our new offices located at the Wajir County Commissioner’s Office Building, offer the following services:
(a) Civil Litigation – representing the National Government in legal proceedings;
(b) Marriage Services
(c) Public Trustee – administration of trusts and estates;
(d) Advocates Complaints Commission – prosecution of complaints of professional misconduct against Advocates;
(e) National Legal Aid – provision of free legal and alternative dispute resolution services to the public.
He was accompanied by the Wajir County Deputy Governor Ahmed Muhumed , County Commissioner Mr. James Karuku, senior officers from the Office of the Attorney General and other key stakeholders.
